Tonights our second show, and I have a bunch of people coming (huzzah!).
Last night went really well. I wasn't nervous or anything, and yet today I woke up with butterflies, and really nervous. Maybe it's just that I've had 8 months of buildup, and it's all going to be over tomorrow night. Sad but good.
I'm totally overworked and exhausted, but it feels nice. I will see those of you I will see tonight, and tomorrow as well.

At school procrastinating on a presentation I have to finish, but I'm really not into it right now.
Yesterday night was the Oscars, and I must say I was totally thrown aback by the whole thing, it ending at 8:30 or whatever, the awards, the presentations, everything was just -blah- EXCEPT for Jon Stewart who, lets face, is delicious and hilarious, and when Three 6 Mafia won the Best Original Song, "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp". I'm sure nobody ever though that a rap-hiphop group would be doing 'shout-outs' at the exclusively-white oscar podium.
Classic.
This weekend was also strange, in reference to sleeping patterns. We had a Friday night/all day saturday dance and full dress rehersal for Guys and Dolls, which was exhausting (wearing heals for 9 hours straight is NOT a good time, I don't care who says so). Also, Alex Browne was there, and also a photographer from the Surrey Leader, oh yeah, you know you're big news when the local paper shows up :P. I can't believe it's less than 3 weeks to the show (ssssscarrryyyy :S)
Also won a bag on ebay for $5!!! Crazy cheap. Now I have to save for California, because gas is expensive, and I have no money (I did apply at Ocean Park Starbucks today though).
PS - To the lovely four coming on Friday night, I got your tickets reserved under MY NAME at the front, so you can pick them up there on the night of the show, unless you want them sooner.

Hello all!
For those who are interested, the production I'm in (Guys and Dolls) is coming up!
The dates of performences are: Thursday March 30th: 7:00 pm (Opening Night) Friday March 31th: 7:00 pm Saturday April 1st (ooh, April Fools): 2:oo pm Matinee, 7:00 pm Evening (Closing Night)
We are only having 4 shows, and it's at Elgin Park Secondary's Theatre (which, for those who don't know, is tiny, abou 170 seats)
If you'd like to come, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOON SO I CAN RESERVE YOU TICKETS, THEY WILL GO VERY FAST (not due to the fact that we are fabulous, but that the intermediate choir is involved, and if each of them brings 3-4 people, that's one night sold out already - not even counting the companies friends and family yet). We're lucky that we get first dibs on tickets, so sales won't open up to the public until eveyone in the company has had a chance to get some for whoever.
I'll post again soon with prices and whatnot, but if you are interested, just reply to this or send me an email and I'll get back to you right away.
If you're not interested, this was all just a dream. A loveley strange dream.... ......dooo doood ododooooot.

Long time, no update.
Lets see whats new: -completey stressed about this comission, I feel like I maybe got in too deep (and also that I'm a procrastinator) -started school again! (only 2 courses, but Geoggers looks like its going to be one of those things I happen to be good at that make no difference to my choice career path) -haven't learned all my lines for Guys and Dolls, but am very excited about the entire schmozzle (we're getting costume fittings right now!) -I MUST FIND A NEW JOB (I am broke and damn sick of it. it's time for people to hire me -or- to suck up and get a not so great job, ie. Subway or the like) -had a so-so christmas and a fun new year with the girls (saw lots of movies over the holiday, was very fun) -am NOT getting along at all with my Mom, she's being totally unreasonable, and I don't know how much longer I can stand to live in this house with her. (I have been spending much more time at my Pa Pa's, which is also much better for me, makes me happier)
other than that, my life is pretty much the same.
PS - DAMN RIGHT I'M JACK SPARROW! Pirates II is really going to kick booty, pirate booty! Ha! Puns suck
 | You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow. Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

Today (at work, shhh!) I was, as-per-usual, bored, so I went surfing the net, and found this site with strange items being sold on ebay: http://www.auctionsilly.com/
My personal favorite is the haunted photos, how sweet is that? Also quite hilarious is the "Dirt Elvis Stood On"
I want to buy them, but alas, I have no cashola.

Avast ye scurvy dogs!
Scrub the deck and bring me my Grog and wenches! Arrrrr....
Ok, it's still too early for me to participate whole-heartedly in "International Talk Like A Pirate Day" though I will be working on this as the day progresses.
As for yesterday's print making fiasco, I did a pretty cool design (if I do say so myself), but I made 28 prints/copies of this image and ONLY 4 TURNED OUT GOOD ENOUGH. I was supposed to have a series of 5, so I just took one of the not perfect ones and used it anyways.
Garg. It is fun though! After I get the hang of it, I'm sure it'll be great.
Other news than that - I'm broke and can no longer pay for anything. Except maybe going to a movie once in a while. Other than that NOTHING! No food, no renting movies, no clothes, no shoes, no NOTHING! Not until I either get a new job or some long lost rich and famous uncle dies and leaves me his fortune.
Thats it! Bye. :|

Well, in an hour I'm going to make my first attempt at print making. We'll see if this turns out great or disaster. Later I'll scan in my original plan and the finished product.
I don't think it's going to be that easy, but maybe I'll just have a very convienient affinity for it! Who knows?
Other than that, this week, I have to do an emergency cleaning of my room because they (my dad and other guy #4) are tearing out the wall so that they can put the electrical box inside (EEK!). This is both bad (as I have to clean my horribly messy room) and good (as we will no longer have those unfortunate short-outs, which get quite irritating sometimes). Garg.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ladybrock (on Saturday!) ---> I'm going to do this everyday until said Saturday.

eek.
It has not been 4 months since I updated. You all are dreaming. Dreaming I say!
I'm back at my shitty school that I hate, but on a happier note, I have 2 classes that I actually like a lot, so that's good news. Other than that, I'm looking for a new job because the Arts Council can only give me one day a week, and lets face it, I spend much more money than that will make me :P.
Choir's started up again too, and the musical this year is going to kick mucho ass. I don't know the exact premise or numbers of Guys and Dolls, but I'm sure it'll be fun.
As for now, I have to be getting to Art History, and maybe work on my printmaking assignment.
Until next time folks!

Well, last night was our Cabaret show. Right now I'm in the after-concert mood, but it went really well. We sold out(!??!?!), and I'm pretty sure someone bought my painting for $200.00. I'm ignoring the fact that it was a choir mom, and one of my most favorite people that I've ever met(ha ha).
There were minimal (2) screw ups, but we managed to cover them up, and it was alot of fun. The audience was really great, and we got 2 encores. And the decorations!!!! Another girls mom helps with all our decorations, and she is unbelievable. We put up newspaper over the back of the stage, and hung a piece of black plywood with "Cabaret" written in red tube lighting (I made it, and I get to keep it! :P), there was a huge black cardboard eiffel tower with lights on the inside, (fake) plants everywhere and fabric framing everything.
I'm really just shocked that its over. It took so much work to get us here, and now, in 8 hours, its just over. I had one of the best times ever. (I'm sure the 3 glasses of wine afterwards helped out with that too).
ANYWAY!! The point is that it was a success, and we all looked like fantastic whores who just happened to be able to sing and dance.

I'm back!!! (With a vengance)
I actually never left, I'm just ridiculously lazy, and you'd be surprised at how difficult it is to be witty and hilarious for all of you folks. I suppose in my absense I've accumulated enough happenings to make it appear like I'm busy and working hard, but we all know the truth is that I'm really not at all.
Of the major things that have happened, one has been my hair, I've gone and got a perm, and I love it. Somewhat of a fiasco to get it to this point, but I'm happy now, and that's all that really matters.
The other is that my mom bought a brand new Mac OS X Tiger (!!!!!!!!!!), and it just arrived on Friday morning. It's been somewhat frustrating, but also interesting finding out what I can do (and what I can't -->Movie Maker, grrrrrr). On one hand, I like the set up, the delicious 20'' monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, and GarageBand, and it's SO FAST, yet on the other hand, I hate that it won't support .wmv files, and I can't seem to download a mac compatible program that will.
Other than that, I'm dirt poor, and I have my chamber choir Cabaret Night in less than a week, for which I have to finish a painting by wednesday (eek!), plan stuff for decorations, make sure there's a sound system, design the gift certificate my dad's donating, put together my mom's gift basket, learn my song (!!! I knew I forgot something :P), make mexican wedding cookies and baklava, be sure I've got everything for our full dress rehersal on Thursday, and go to work on Wednesday.
No problem, I have it all under control. (I hope).
Anyway, I'm going to actually try to update more often, so you'll be hearing from me (whether you like it or not, bub).
PS - Going to the Cloverdale Rodeo with my dad/sis/her friend (WOOT!)

Hello!
It's time for another episode of "My Dreary and Boring Life", I hope you will enjoy it. I am DONE SCHOOL on Thursday. I am very happy about it ending, and also about me working more and making the big monies.
Also, I am coming up out of my March depression (March sucks), but unfortunatley my bank account took the brunt of that blow, seeing as I ended up buying myself things to make me feel better. Bad, I know, but what else was I going to do? Plus, I got some thing I actually needed, and also some I just felt that I couldn't live without (see new shoes).
ANYWAY, the real purpose of this post is to tell you all of this fabulose new cd/music website I've found:
http://www.cdbaby.com
It's this great site of mostly independant artists, and most of the cd's are really cheap. I will be ordering some very soon. They sound like a really great company, and they are out of Oregan (so shipping could be a little more, but what else are you really going to do with 3 dollars?)
So that's all for me today. Be well.

Well, it's barely 10 in the morning and I've already had 2 massive cups of coffee. I need to write two essays today, woot! And my mommy gets home, double woot! On the upside, one of my coffee's had no sugar. But, then I suppose that the other one had enough sugar to power a small nuclear bomb. But that's life, right?
You wouldn't believe, well actually, you probably would, but this entire FRICKIN week I've been trying to write these essays, and now they're due tomorrow. This coffee is definitley not helping my stress level.
I'm going to be so lonely house sitting :( :( Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, and it's raining outside, so I might as well go pick up some worms for later while I have the chance.
I finished my math homework this morning in about 12 minutes (a new record), some are probably wrong, but I'm willing to get 75% instead of a fail, which is always better, in my opinion.
Know what I found out yesterday? That there's this thing on MSN called "My Space", and yesterday I spent my essay writing time doing that instead. I'm such a good student. You can see it here, I'm uploading more pictures as soon as I'm done these god-forsaken hellion essays (damn to the depths whatever mutton-head thought of essays): My "Space" And if that doesn't work, there are little stars on the msn icons on messenger, and if you left click on the little messenger guy by me, then it should work.... I think.... Oh well, it doesn't matter really.
I've decided that caffeine is my new best friend. But only warm caffeine, I can't really stand pop. Well, I can stand it, but it's not my favorite. Call me old fashioned, but my favorite cold drink is a nice tall glass of water. Have you all ever noticed that that phrase has pretty much gone out of style when referring to the male population? I think I'm going to bring it back. The revival of, "Well look at you, you tall glass of water." I know, I'll use it in the club on drunken idiots. They're respose will probably be something to the affect of, "What? Water? Shit no, it costs 2.50 for a bottle, what are you, clinically insane?" to which I will respond, "Most likely" and leave them in a confused, drunken stupor. God I love stupors.
Ok, well I have to go pretend like I know how to construct a philosophical argument, and rant about Huckleberry Finn and some fellow named Jim.
Adieu, I bid you all future caffeine highs like mine.
PS - Lukewarm coffee with no sugar is ALOT worse than I thought it would be (and yet I'm drinking it anyway........)
PPS - WOOOOOOAHHHH, 2 posts in 2 days??? I must be on fire, or something. Probably more likely or something, because if I WAS on fire, I'd already have stopped, dropped, and would be in the process of rolling riggggggght abouuut...... now.

Well, my delicious two and a half week tyrade of having a house all to myself (not counting the disgusting mess that is my sister) is coming to an end on Wednesday.
Stuff I have learned: 1. I want to move out. 2. I want to get the hell out of this town. 3. I want a car. 4. I don't want to do school any more (right now). 5. I did actually miss my mom (get out!), no, I actually did. This does not mean, however, that I can stand continuing to live with her.
I'm sure there are more things (like don't ever let Alex drink), but the above are what I see as most imporant. Basically, I need some sort of huge change, and I don't know how I could possibly pull it off in my current situation. Damn my situtation!!!!!! DAMN YOU!!!!!!!!
*ahem*
Do not worry, however!!! I still have another week and a couple days to house sit in a lovely, beautiful house with a big lovely, beautiful bed that I get to sleep in. (Not that my princess bed at home does not suffice, it's just that this one is all white and delicious)
And now, if you will all excuse me, I have to go pretend like I understand algebra, which I don't pull off too well. Math really isn't my strong suit. It's, most likely, the weakest blazer I have.
Ah, Bartleby! Ah, humanity!
